Description: ENThe TMP equity priority neighbourhoods were identified based on indicators in four of the NEI domains: economic opportunity; social and human development; health; and community and belonging. The TMP equity priority neighbourhoods also include seven additional neighbourhoods, or micro-neighbourhoods, with service needs that are the focus of work by the City of Ottawa’s Integrated Neighborhood Services Team. The TMP equity priority neighbourhoods are intended to represent areas with the highest socio-economic need. Where there are high concentrations of residents who are socially and economically vulnerable, gaps in transportation infrastructure or services are more likely to create barriers to participation. Transportation needs and opportunities in these neighbourhoods can then be assessed through transportation projects and programs.FRLes quartiers prioritaires pour l’équité du PDT ont été définis d’après des indicateurs dans quatre des domaines de l’IEQ : les perspectives économiques, le développement social et humain, la santé, ainsi que la communauté et l’appartenance. Les quartiers prioritaires du PDT comprennent aussi sept quartiers supplémentaires, ou microquartiers, dont les besoins en services font l'objet des travaux de l'Équipe intégrée de services de quartier de la Ville d'Ottawa. Les quartiers prioritaires pour l’équité du PDT visent à représenter les secteurs dans lesquels les besoins socioéconomiques sont les plus aigus. Dans les cas où il y a de fortes concentrations de résidents qui sont socialement et économiquement vulnérables, il est plus probable que les lacunes dans les infrastructures ou les services de transport créent des obstacles contre la participation. On peut alors évaluer, dans ces quartiers, les besoins en transport et les perspectives grâce aux projets et aux programmes de transport.
